17M and I’m wondering if having a frenulum (tounge tie) impedes mandible growth. It says it can, but all the cases are really severe and my jaw is only mildly recessed. Not to the point where they would consider it an issue at least. I’m curious if when I get my wisdom teeth removed I should additionally get the tounge tie fixed. At this age would it even make a difference in my jaw, or is the mandible fully grown already?

Not that it matters now but would removing it at a young age have helped much.
yes obviously, the tongue has a postural function that guides the growth and counteracts gravity, the growth window has been missed but you also needed breastfeeding too to strengthen it, so it probably wouldnt've mattered anyway
