Not really, his issue is like a textbook example for this surgery. He's a miracle for his surgeon, as he's basically walking advertisement.

His example, that is heavily recessed maxilla with rest of face in it's proper place is basically a huge luck actually. Makes him look horribly bad, true, but is very easy to fix like you see here. In fact it's worse to have some smaller but more complicated facial issues, like type 3 malocclusion. Looks "least bad" of all, but is hardest to fix and has no guarantee it will help
