Daytrading is easily the best way to make money online. Its infinitely scaleable, theres no competition since it isn't a business, and a fucking sped kid can do it if they learn enough. This is a full guide that the average person can use to start learning this skill.

after you complete every step in this guide, id recommend you to buy a private mentorship with a good mentor to maximize your chances of becoming profitable. Buying a course is NOT ALWAYS RETARDED. having someone thats actually experienced teach you 1-1 can be very helpful, though it is not needed.

First:

download/sign up for tradingview, you’ll be looking at the charts & paper trading here:

Second:

Make an account for FXreplay, this is where you will backtest your strategy. Backtesting is when you go back in time on the charts to study old price action and take fake trades with your strategy. this video explains more in detail.

Third:

Watch the Tjr bootcamp and take lots of notes. This is the best youtube course for beginner traders as it teaches the most important basic concepts that you might use as well as important psychology lessons. After you watch the bootcamp, you should already be paper trading with tradingview’s integrated paper trading.

Fourth:

Watch this video by TTrades about inverse fair value gaps (IFVGs). This is the single most important trading concept of them all, you will watch more videos by TTrades in the future but this is definitely the most important one.

Fifth:

Watch the ICT 2022 mentorship while still taking lots of notes. The playlist is where you will really start to learn the old concepts more in-depth as well as learning new concepts that will be very important. In the original version, ICT yaps a lot so this is a version of the playlist without the parts of him js talking.

Sixth:

If you don't fully understand the concepts you’ve learned from these videos, TTrades has great, quick, easy to understand videos on every single concept that you could ever need.
His playlist:

Seventh:

By now you should have a great understanding of how to trade ICT concepts. But, even though knowing how to use them is important, psychology is 100% the most important part about trading. You should know a few things about psychology from the TJR bootcamp, but Salman Nassiri has the absolute best psychology videos on youtube.

Bonus playlist by justin werlein. Probably my favorite of any mentor because he’s a great teacher & I use his strategy:

MY STRATEGY/MODEL:

After 3+ months of completing these steps, papertrading, and backtesting, you should start trading sim capital with prop firms. I will make a seperate thread soon explaining funded accounts but for now all of you niggas should stick to fully fake money.

To actually start trading i would recommend you have atleast 1k save for fundeds though its not needed. Funded accounts range from $20-$300. More info on fundeds coming soon ofc. Alot of you niggas should be gymceling so just sell reta to fat chuds at the gym and you'll have $1,000 in no time.

don't let any retard tell you can't be profitable because daytrading is "cope". niggas like that are gonna stay poor with that dogshit mindset and are js coping themselves.

With 6 months+ of consistency and discipline, absolutely anyone can become profitable.

false. You're only competing with professionals if you are trading against them.

With ICT concepts, you learn how to trade in the same direction as the institutions. Also, it's not luck; daytrading is very mentally taxing, and there are many skills that you have to learn.

I agree that it is super fucking hard, and you will most certainly have to make many sacrifices in order to succeed, but in the end it's worth it while you work for 90 minutes a day wherever the fuck you want and make $100k a month.

nigga I have been trading for 3 years I could asure you that the ICT concept or any other form of concept trading is dogshit the reason why is that it narrows down the vision of the market, like there are 100s of reasons why price action could act in a certain way but concept traders will say "oh it happend bcz of the fvg or whatever conecpt they'll be using"
If you using ICT for trading you might as well consider astrology

Watch most of his videos (notes are optional here)
https://www.youtube.com/@SalmanNassiri

Eighth:

I'd say this is a BOTB worthy thread but I don't believe in day trading unfortunately almost every single expert says it's a scam

hope u know alpha decay is real. and dont give this shit video about ifvgs, if u trade ifvgs und need extreme context to make them work with htf pd arrays, major smts ( depends if reversal or continuation)
but sure 22 is the best mentorship, not many people will watch it tho

hes right about the alpha decay and that you need extreme context/confirmation but a real 1% trader will adapt and adjust accordingly. hes wrong about the video though, this IFVG tut is an OK beginner video.

Nice thread but instead of all the yt courses go to quantpedia or read academic research on paper trading strategies, you will find relevant strategies there.

Also adding some cons:
It's not infinite money glitch and margins are low because markets are efficient, in order to make bank you need to HFT in such efficient markets which requires bots and API for a broker which will execute the trades fast af or have a server rack in the stock exchange for minimum lag to execute trades. Other funds and traders have their own strategies which they gate keep and only publish it when competition somehow finds it.[They publish it not for education of others, the main reason is to cut the profits share of competition coz many institutions or retail investors will be doing that and the market will be efficient]

There are people who make a lot of money doing this but it's not predictable. It's purely luck and not sustainable for long run. If you get lucky in day trading then best thing for you will be to get out and never do it again if your return was not predictable.(Have a goal of predictable returns which you can then offload the work to algorithms)

So this is the minimum threshold, if you can tackle all the issues then you can make consistent return and make loads of money. Or else just loose money waiting to get lucky.

If someone wants to check their luck then go look into a mirror.

Great comment, but I disagree. I honestly think that if you learn these concepts (whether it be from the info on this thread or other), and apply your newfound knowledge to a strategy that you have 1000+ hours of backtesting for, then you can definitely be prrofitable long term (especially rinsing prop firms). And yes, I know alpha decay exists and that your strategy will eventually be less effective over time, but ICT allows you to use new concepts when needed as there are hundreds of different ways to trade them.
