True, but studying for math is a lot more effective than studying for English. It's easier to get a really high grade in math than English.

I can get decent grades for English if I, but I'll always be hardcapped at a certain point no matter how hard I try. For math (or any other subject) it can fluctuate a lot

Yeah you'll get graph theory in discrete math in uni if you take an engineering or CS major. I wouldnt say it is hard you just need to be able to have a grasp on abstract math if you do its not that hard if you don't it's going to be hard.
