If you game a lot you will eventually get carpal tunnel or at least get mild wrist/finger pain when doing certain things. This can be mitigated with the following exercises:
- Put your arms straight out in front of you make 10 circles with your wrists with a fist and then with your fingers spread wide apart. Next move your wrist side to side with your hands hanging down, with your hands out straight, and with your hands bent up.
- Arms straight out in front of you, hand down, pull it towards you with your other hand, 30 seconds
- Arms straight out, bend wrists back, 10 open close fingers, 10 move fingers up and down while keeping them straight and together
- 10 shoulder shrugs up and down, 10 forward shoulder rolls, 10 backward shoulder rolls, 10 alternating up and down (alternate left and right shoulder)
- Arm straight out, wrist down, press back of hand on wall try to make fist, repeat 10x
- Arm straight out, wrist down, press back of hand on wall, move thumb side to side, then 20 forward thumb rolls, then 20 back
