Gaming as a teenager? Whatever. You’re broke, hormonal, and still figuring life out. Escaping into games makes sense.
But you ever see a grown man proudly say “I game”? Bro you’re not a warrior, you’re a digital peasant. Sitting 12 hours a day in a chair built like a race car while roleplaying as a Viking elf doesn’t make you high value, it makes you a terminal coomer with carpal tunnel.
Gamers legit think their “reaction time” puts them on some elite tier of genetics. Yeah bro, your fast reflexes really matter when you’re dodging bullets in a fictional Ukrainian wasteland. Meanwhile in real life, you’re dodging sunlight and basic hygiene.
And don’t get me started on the “strategy game” crowd. These dudes play turn based map simulators and think they could run a real country. Bro, you micromanage grain production in Age of Empires, not the Federal Reserve.
Then there’s the MMO players, peak delusion. Maxing out stats in a fantasy world while being level 2 in real life. No charisma, no strength, no presence just 900 hours logged into an anime waifu guild.
Gaming is cope for subhumans who failed the IRL tutorial. No status, no physique, no social proof just empty dopamine hits and a library full of digital participation trophies.
