lack of violence in society is a real disservice to kids. violence/competition is necessary motivation for them to shape up. the harsh zero sum game of biology needs to be reinforced in their minds via the normalization and practice of violence.

the small guy should learn not to antagonize the larger guy. this is violence lesson number 1. people growing up under "zero tolerance" school policies now expect everyone in the world to follow the same rules they grew up under. lesson number 2 if exposed to violence: if you're too small, you need to get bigger, stronger, faster, more resilient and more dangerous. nippard is the typical highly agreeable niceguy for whom body building is just a status symbol, ie look at how much free time i have i get to eat a ton of protein and go to the gym and get paid for it. why has he not trained or practiced any form of combat? because he saw no need. the teacher/cop/government authority would always break things up, there was enough cultural stigma against violence that he was never exposed to it. if nippard was a student of violence, he would at the very least train for such an occassion by blocking his throat, reacting more defensively, maybe even pull out a gun an shooting the nigger in the head if legally permissible in his jurisdiction. but he did none of that, he just stood there and took it. this is what lack of violence does, it makes you a sitting duck, a victim waiting to be exploited.

Exactly, back in the day the biggest strongest male would never be antagonized by anybody but other bigger stronger males.

The issue also lies in the fact that status indicators such as wealth have been separated from physical prowess, so weak males are still able to have high status.
