Genetic late growth spurt

My cousin apparently had a huge growth spurt in his senior year of high school and was pretty short before that. Should this be a reason to have hope as a 5'9 17 year old or am I coping. I have size 12 feet so I always wondered why Im so short. Havent really grown the past year and a half btw

can't you just go to a private clinic and ask for xray?
