It honestly depends on the university and the professors you're dealing with. There are professors out there who still treat you like high school kids, but others can be chill. Luckily at my current university, they're all chill.

Yeah, it just depends on where you go. But I like the freedom that's given, although I don't take advantage of it. I don't think I've ever gotten out of a class before just so I could do something else.

It's still the beginning of the year, so it's probably not that serious. Besides, they can also ask to copy other people's notes in case they missed something.
