Alright, boys, I decided my biggest psl boost would be fixing my chin. To achieve my goal, I've decided to go down the genioplasty route. A common consensus is that a bimax is needed before chin augmentation or the new chin will look uncanny. I'm personally content with how forward grown my face is; my profile is similar to Chicos when my neck fat and chin are edited so I believe I really only need a genioplasty and no DJS. Also, moving my jaws forward would only further upturn my nose which is on the verge of being a failo. However, I do think I could benefit from a bimax focused on CCW but I honestly don't think it's worth the money.

Do I need bimax ccw before jawsurgery or will genio alone suffice? Does clock wise rotation create the illusion of a weak chin or is it the chin itself or both?

This is the result I want:
Should I further project the chin?

I don't see any immediate signs of recession of overall downward growth. You could likely get away with a genio.

Need frontal view too

Yes a maxillofacial jaw surgery should give you the result that you want. I did it myself 2 years ago to fix an underbite.

They cut some bone in the upper and lower jaw and when they bring it forward they tighten it in place with titanium plates, then within around 1 year, the bone grows back so the plates won't hold your jaw in place for the rest of your life but they will remain even after the bone has healed.

So such a surgery would make your jaw bigger and make you not look recessed anymore.

I’m assuming your bite is normal/good? Gonna be perfectly honest with you: your jaws look like their positioning is absolutely perfect. Jawline and submental area are both good. Your nose is also very aesthetically shaped and well balanced due to the optimal positioning of your maxilla. Only flaw is your chin is slightly recessed. Ideal candidate for advancement sliding genioplasty. Your morph looks very good and realistically achievable.

As someone who has already gone through bimax and still looks mediocre, I am incredibly jealous ngl. You have a clear cut path to ascension with a relatively easy and affordable surgery.

how do u raise a hyoid
try to swallow until you see that the bump under your jaw goes up, you will feel a pressure on the back, try to hold that position and already with that you are involving the posterior third of the tongue, then stick the other areas of the tongue to the palate to have perfect posture. You may feel choked or find it hard to breathe at first, this is normal but you should try to raise the hyoid while breathing.

I don't think Genio will look like shit. I'm not recessed you can see by the angle of my philtrum, I'm just not forward grown. And do you see the morph bro? Def achievable

so do genio

your chin are recessed

edit: yes morph is GOOD

Da

Damn your frontal is better than I expected... damn good eye area IMO just fix your chin and softmax

that's my plan bro. I'm lucky I only really need one hard max. Maybe LL cause I'm manlet but I play sports so prob not

@medialcanthuscel

Are you spewing random technical bullshit to make it look like you are smart or something, his maxilla is average

OP needs bimax but not because of his maxilla, rather his mandible if anything

But people say side does not matter.. Your jaw does not seem to be that bad even with recession.

my bite is perfect so bimax would give negligible results

here is my frontal view. I need to lose bf. I could definitely benefit from increasing my chin height
View attachment 842509

Lower third height is lacking but good overall soft features. Depending on genio advancement, could have a large effect.

You need lefort 1(distraction osteogenesis) to the point you are jutting your mandible, then you can use biobloc 3 to make the mandibles jutting position regular.

There does seem to be a malalignment of your maxilla and mandible. A common indicator of this is when the lower lip is retracted from the upper lip, as evident in your side profile. You could be a candidate for a bimaxillary osteotomy.

Although, because the position of the maxilla is dominant against the mandible, you may be able to conceal this malalignment with a sliding genioplasty. In my opinion, this would be a superior choice - especially if you don't already have significant problems with your bite or teeth position. The recovery is quicker, it's cheaper, and you can also add some cosmetic augmentation to it (e.g. making it more squared, making the chin wider, etc.)

I got recessive ortho to fix an overbite when I shouldve gotten jaw surgery. My bite is perfect but my mandible looks like I have a overbite. Thanks for your advice. It’s a relief that don’t have to shell out 20k for djs

why the fuck do u want to raise it surgically if you can do it naturally by yourself

some people are born with the bone below their chin even while mewing

You appear to have an aesthetically recessed maxilla which would benefit from advancement which would necessitate double jaw surgery.
However genioplasty alone would improve your appearance and MMA could be done after if you decide to go all the way

should I be worried about my nose becoming more upturned from advancing the upper jaw? What is mma?

Yes it will increase NSA and may require rhinoplasty correction.

Isn't fixing nose rotation the riskiest rhinoplasty? My nose is on the verge of being too upturned and if DJS is gonna rotate it more I'd rather not risk looking deformed from a failed rino

Those photoshop changes def isnt something that will occur with bimax.
