Many people dream of coming to germany, to go there, work there, live there etc but germany is now a land of mediocrity it's just a country of people complaining about the governement and talking about fotball all the time. There are no huge advancements in science and engineering that germany was known for. No great poets, no great philosophers, no scientists, no great leaders, No great musicians.

German engineering, discipline and work culture was a symbol of german efficiency and now its all gone. People are just reduced to being lazy NEETs because don't seem to have a vision or ambitions that they once had. They used to consistently win and Nobel prize every time and now there barely do. Germany is now just trying to copy america's pop culture in their own language. These are the things that I observed from third person who doesn't live in germany but reads and consumes german content regularly

True. This was probably one of Germany's biggest mistakes. Concerning government, chancellors have been horrible for a while, it only became clear to me when Angela Merkel went into office. Germany was my home land, I do not look at it with as much affection as I used to. I still do love it very dearly, though I long for its return to a place of prosperity.

Even developed nations like Germany, UK, France are shadowed by the XXL lifestyle of the Americans. Big house, big truck, big burger, big starbucks coffee. All slav girls jumping on you for the green card.

To me, every ambitious man's first goal must be making it to US, unless it somehow benefits them to stay in another country (family business, illegal business etc.)

Day of judgement is approaching. If my visa gets denied, I don't know how will I cope.

Maybe I am too much of a fanboy, but it just looks like US has the best offer for money earned per hour and how much you can actually do with that money.

This shallow commentary is operating on the assumption that Germany is allowed to wholly embrace being German. 'Germany' has been made a deindustrialized, dwindling 'economic zone', drained of resources and vitality, literally and spiritually, where majority city dwellers frown upon, and even vocally chastise, the flying of the German flag and where citizens and politicians are prosecuted by the State if they dare cite government statistics regarding crime (eg rape) stratified by nationality, discuss net economic contributions by origin, evaluate immigration and its social and economic impacts, or suggest reform to 'rehabilitative justice' giving light penalties to criminals which encourages recidivism. Anyone who criticizes this is seen as a 'fascist' or 'conspiracist'.
