Get hair transplant at 19 or wait till 25?

Background: Male, 19 currently with aggressive MBP; have been on 2.5mg dut for 3 months and plan to stay on for a while; also use RU58841 but not sure if it does anything. Shedding seems to have stabilised a little. Will start oral minox soon,

A lot of people say wait till 25 to see how hair loss progresses before getting hair transplants.

Right now I'm around NW 2.5/3 with decent density, and thinning crown. A single FUT session could likely fix my hairline and improve my crown substantially.

Given I plan to stay on 2.5mg dut, would it be better to get the HT done asap or wait and see how the hair loss progresses?

Obviously the younger you fix these falios the better, but the risk is damaging the donor area and then not having enough grafts later on if the hair loss progresses even further.

Wait until you are at least 1+ years on meds. Also be prepared that a lot of good surgeons will reject you because you are too young

Wait until you are at least 1+ years on meds. Also be prepared that a lot of good surgeons will reject you because you are too young

I have been on topical min + topical fin for a year before this. may switch to oral min to see how it goes, and then try HT either this summer or next summer.

That's so unfortunate. Maybe try some clinics in Thailand I've seen a few people get them done there at ages 20/21

Keep doing what youre doing and get on. Min and also buy jxl-069 to wake up some of those dormant follicles. Theres no reason to wait untill 25, go a bit more than a year and see how your hair looks
