I have a double jaw surgery coming up in less than a year, it will move my maxilla forward and lower jaw slightly back while also greatly widening both jaws. Is there anything I should do to maximize the effects from an appearance standpoint?

ask the surgeon for a Bypass / Interocclusal Splint depending on which look you are going for

didnt @NZb6Air made a thread on Bimax ? he says its a safe surgery. Talking about risks, its in everything. Go for the risk/reward ratio.

people think every somewhat conservative surgeon is like sunil while the highest rep ones are also conservative to some extent
ditching functionality isnt ideal

I mean I haven't posted pictures but my bottom chin sticks out pretty far, I feel like it would look right.
