It feels like the only jobs that hire anymore are the shitty low iq jobs like warehouse.
Even trying to work at mcdonalds is a fucking pain in the ass. I remember back in the day if you were ever down bad or need money quick you can apply to mcdonalds or some shitty fast food place and they'll hire you in a week or less. Nowadays even trying to work there is impossible. They are now using ai for the drive thrus and all the workers are indian immigrants who are getting paid 30 cents per hour. The job market is too saturated. They would rather hire a indian who will accept low salary and work like a drone rather than a white or black person who will get mad at low pay. Feels like every fast food place i go to is 99% indians and hispanics nowadays.
I go to interviews and i do literally everything right and it goes nowhere jfl. They say shit l;ike "we will let you know" "we will give you a call back". Once they say this it just means your not getting a callback. If you are getting the job they will say "when can we plan the first day".
Getting a job is like planning a date with a foid "ill let you know" = over
Also jfl at "job fairs" and "hiring events". I will never again waste my time going to one of those. If you dont have a harvard degree and 8+ years of training you wont get hired, theres too much competition. And lets say everyone has no degree, they will obviously just pick the white, good looking, tall guy over anyone else.
indeed is also shit. these employers probably dont even look at applicants with less than 5+ years of experience for more than 10 seconds
Legit trying to get a "low end job" ($20/hour+) requires a bachelors degree nowadays jfl. Imagine spending 4 years in college to make $25 a hour
