In your case I would guess it’s because you look quite low trust so only the girls with nothing to lose risk rejection by going up to you. You look good so I would approach girls who give iois. No girl is going to approach an average looking guy, especially if he looks unapproachable.

I’m talking about approaches in public which can be quite rare. Considering girls standards are now higher than ever, I would say it’s a good thing if ugly girls approach you on a somewhat regular basis (~once a week).
