So im getting some kind of biteplate behind my lower teeth to get my overbite fixed( dont have a picture sadly),also have braces currently.
Is this a good thing for my lower third or a future looksmin?

An anterior biteplate will lead to your molars extruding, which would mean that your teeth will be contacting earlier and therefore lower your mandible a bit. This would than lead to your incisors moving back, which could make your maxilla look a couple millimeter more recessed, but also help straighten your teeth out. Up to you to decide if that's good or bad.
