Getting jaw surgery AFTER camouflage orthodontics

When I was younger I had a quite big overbite obviously because of my lower jaw being stucked in the condyle, I can jut like fucking hell...

Then I got it ""fixed"" by a jew orthodontist that just moved my upper teeth back and my lower teeth forward using these fucking elastics.

I plan to get double jaw surgery in the future but wouldn't the results would be non-ideal because of this past camouflage overbite correction preventing ideal jaw relation (Moving the lower jaw enough compared to the upper jaw) ? Can the camouflage even be undone actually ?

It depends on how the compensation was made

If you are class I, you can get DJS for aesthetic

If you have clsss I incisor buy other place there are clear sign of compensation then you will go ortho before to do ortho de compensation

After this décompensation you will have your real occlusion and from here you can get surgery

If you have an X-RAY i can tell you

1)If bone moved because of elastics
2) they inclined the teeth to get good occlusion

1) it's the first case then it's not a problem because for exemple:

Before compensation:
Good maxilla
3mm retruded mandibule

After compensation:
3mm retruded maxilla
3mm retruded mandibule

Now u can get DJS and do 5mm both instead of getting originel 3mm BSSO

2) if it's the second case then they do de compensation and give your teeth there real inclinaison

U will get normal maxilla
3mm retruded mandibule

Now you can have either 3mm BSSO

Or get black pill surgeon for DJS and do double advancement

In both case u can get DJS so it doesn't matter but the 1) is better cause if you are class I everywhere then u can have surgery directly

2) is good option if in your country there is DJS insurance and the decompensation give you malloclusion

Of course, the same way it was done before. The question is who would do it though (besides jaw surgery) if you're not visibly deformed or have health issues that can't be solved otherwise

But profil pic is enough also tell me your smile if you see enough upper teeth or not
