it's exceedingly difficult to just "get" a social circle - the vast majority of people acquire their social circle in highschool & then just stick with it, or expand through friends of friends

you maybe get one another opportunity when starting university - if it happens to be such uni that most people travel from far away & therefore are disconnected from their circles

Most people know each other before even uni starts jfl. If you weren't in a social circle in hs, you are very low chances. I got fucked over cuz I had to move
