My left side was generally more defined than the right and I figured this out by using the inverted filter since you are used to seeing your face flipped, in the mirror or front camera.

I noticed my left side of my neck was thicker than the right so I started incorporating training for the right side. I do shrugs with a heavy weight on the right side and stretch the sternocleidomastoid.

I also use a foam roller and stretch the left side to release any potential tension.

My habit of sleeping on one side probably attributed to this asymmetry.

In conclusion, if your face is slightly asymmetrical this is generally a domino effect of other parts of your body snd your face compensates for this imbalance.

nah, its not caused by any "sleeping side" habit, but a "domino effect of other parts of your body and your face compensates for this imbalance." is correct, I did a comprehensive article about facial asymmetry and underlying compensational patterns:

Side sleeping doesn’t do that unless your sinking your face into a pillow.

Foam rolling is good for releasing tension. It might be an atlas misalignment because of the neck which affects the face.

So if I understand correctly, you train the less wide side and stretch the wider side? Or do you stretch both sides of the SCM?
