Girl became mean to me as soon as I stopped wearing glasses

I forgot my glasses the other day and didn't think much of it. When I went into class, I sat next to the girl I usually sit to, but her vibes were immediately completely different. She looked over at me, and didn't say anything when I sat down. I tried to have our usual conversation but she had a bad tone and tried to mock me a few times. Halfway through class, I looked over and she was just staring at my face. Afterwards, we got coffee and she seemed to go back to normal. I asked her about it later and she just said I looked different without my glasses, but I don't see how looking a bit different could completely change how someone acts towards you.

Is this a subhuman reaction? Most people tell me I look better without my glasses so I was surprised I suddenly got the subhuman treatment. Why did she react like that?
