Ok so anyone know why smokers have such deep voices? well its because of chronic laryngitis
Chronic laryngitis is an inflammatory process that causes the larynx, or voice box, to become inflamed for at least two weeks. It's often caused by exposure to irritants over time.
So why cant we induce chronic laryngitis
How to do just that,
- Vocal Strain: Speaking loudly or for long periods without proper rest can strain the vocal cords, leading to inflammation and eventually chronic laryngitis.
- Reflux: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) can cause stomach acid to back up into the throat, irritating the vocal cords and leading to chronic laryngitis.
- Smoking: Smoking irritates the throat and can lead to chronic inflammation of the vocal cords, contributing to laryngitis.
- Allergies: Allergies can cause postnasal drip, which irritates the throat and can lead to chronic laryngitis.
- Respiratory Infections: Chronic exposure to respiratory infections, such as colds or the flu, can lead to chronic inflammation of the vocal cords.
- Environmental Irritants: Exposure to pollutants, dust, or dry air can irritate the throat and contribute to chronic laryngitis.
Also causing silent reflux or laryngopharyngeal reflux can effect the voice box
inducing it isnt advisable based on my research, but then again thats bluepilled shit anyway
-In the context of chronic laryngitis, silent reflux can silently irritate the delicate tissues of the larynx, including the vocal cords, without causing immediate discomfort or noticeable symptoms.
-The acidic nature of stomach contents can inflame and damage the sensitive mucous membranes lining the throat and vocal cords over time. This chronic irritation can eventually lead to chronic laryngitis.
