literally no one in commercial gyms is strong or knows how to train. every single person i see in the gym just fks around. no one squats to depth if they squat at all, barely see anyone rowing or OHPing heavy, and no one knows how to bench correctly they always do bullshit like putting their feet up in the air and benching super high on their chest.
And no one actually knows about programming, most people don't even understand progressive overload and certainly don't know how to periodise anything. they do 2 hours of arm supersets once a week and train legs once a week and wonder why they're small. a 4 plate deadlift is actually rare in most gyms.

seriously even running something as lame as Stronglifts 5x5 for a year then going to some kind of linear periodisation or DUP program after that and eat enough and you will mog 9/10ths of people in your local gym.

it is a cauldron of failures, the same we all end up here, they all end up there

the whole thing is just too much, sacks of water wearing gymshark, their facial expressions on the final reps, the environmental arrogance 'mcgreger' walk after they 1RM their bench press to substitute genetic arrogance, the protein shakers, the hamster wheels, the brand new sneakers, the hair follicals, buzzcuts, the wraps, chalk, grunting, seflies, creepshots, wireless headphones listening to motivation speeches, watching utube influencers tell them what to eat

ye some male models use, but its literally their job to use it

you gotta laugh, ive lost it many times when i used to go to the gym to the point where people have asked me whats funny like its not obvious

the most braindead way you could imagine to spend your time, the fact you have to pay to use it
