In middle school (6th grade) I was bullied for my height. I was bullied by girls I liked, bullied by my "friends", I was on the road to being an incel (not a woman hating one, but the true definition). I was 4'5 WITH SHOES ON. Even worse, I had big shoes so I was called clown feet. It was so weird being towered over a 5'2 girl and everyone in my family completely towered me. There was a girl that was 6ft and if you wanna imagine what it was like imagine (this will work if ur 5'8-6'4) looking up to wembanyama (he's 7'4). It was so brutal, the one girl that did like me was outcasted from her friend group and was bullied almost as much as I was for liking me. (even she, at 5ft, was 7 inches taller than me.) I grew steadily throughout middle school and by the start of 8th grade I was 4'11-5ft and I went to a majority Hispanic school so I started to fit in, but I was still bullied for my height by the taller kids. (5'4-5'6). Once I reached 14, (9th grade or freshman year) I grew from 5'3-5'7 and started being taller than the other kids (mind you, I'm half black (50% white 50% black) so i'm naturally taller than the Hispanic kids at my school). This is when my manlet life finally went away and I stopped getting bullied for my height, in 10th grade I was 5'8 and that was the first time a girl (my girlfriend at the time) said I was tall. Which felt weird. Now at 16 I'm 5'10 and i'm taller than most kids at my school and my father and uncles are taller than me so I'm on track to be 6'0-6'1. Extreme Life fuel and i'm finally at a point in life where i'm secure about my height and not constantly bullied for it.
TLDR: Went from short to above average height, social life got drastically better.
