But I can’t help but do it over and over again because I painfully feel the passage of time of my supposed “prime years” of 20s slipping away day after day, just like my teen years did before

Having to go through a surgery gamble is such a cucked position to be in mayne, but what else can ya do if you lost the genetic lottery??
