I like going to the theater, it's a high IQ activity. I used to go with my mom, but she's busy today, so I'll go by myself. I'll be such a mysterious dark triad there.

Here's what I'll be watching...

"In October Without You" is a crime story about the mysterious disappearance of a highly valuable golden cross from a monastery, but also about the strong yet impossible love between a former student and a young criminologist.

The play serves as a ruthless satirical mirror of Bulgarian society at the end of the 1960s when it was written. This predetermined its challenging stage fate – the play never had its Sofia premiere, and wherever it was performed, it was deemed politically unsuitable.

In the lobby bar of a small Rhodope hotel exclusively for Western European foreigners, the fates and value systems of a group of young people collide. The tragic finale of this entertaining and amusing story confronts the audience with the opportunity to answer for themselves the play’s major moral question: What is the price of standing by the truth, and what is the price of betraying one’s beliefs?
