I just kept getting rejected again and again.
Compared to many people here who didn't even approach any girls, I was heavily into PUA, studied it and applied it, approached and chatted with hundreds of girls, went out on dates with dozens of them, and eventually had three girlfriends, but the relationships with them were difficult, I didn't have the upper hand, had little control, not much respect from them, etc.
Most success I had in college, when I had a two-year long relationship, and a circle of cool friends, but after college was over, everyone moved away back to where they came from, my gf left me too after several months and I was left alone and kinda lost. I started PUA again, but with no success this time, just a long string of rejections, until one day I just gave up and stopped struggling.

I don't know maybe a 4, I can't say I'm ugly but I'm not good looking either, I have a relatively average face. My main problem is that I look neotenous, more like a teen than a grown man, it wasn't a problem when I was young, but at my current age it's hard to be taken seriously with a face like this.

No, I've actually also learned back then online marketing, I've built websites, made some nice money, it was in the early days of the Internet, when it was much easier, getting a regular job seemed stupid when I could just work at home.
Then, due to the lack of success with girls, my motivation to work decreased, the Internet also changed, so I eventually just quit, and don't have now any useful skills.

What more is there to say, I wanted to accomplish great things when I was a kid and teen, I had a brilliant mind, learned how to read and write at an early age when most kids could barely talk, everyone was amazed by my knowledge and intelligence, and would predict an amazing future for me.
Back then, in the communist era, this was more than enough to ascend - if you got good grades, you could then go to any university, choose whatever career you wanted, and your job and social ascension was basically guaranteed by the state.
After the fall of communism, everything changed, education became worthless, everyone was on their own now, and from a person with amazing future prospects, I became just a nerd. People started to respect other values and worship characters like athletes, rappers, gangster, dubious businessmen, etc., the whole society basically degenerated and it made me feel more out of place in it.
