r/bodyweightfitness recommended routine unironically. Sometimes redditors get things right, I have been following it for 5 months now

my cali routine:

3x20 musle ups

3x25 pull ups
3x20 chin ups

4x40 dips
4x25 handstand pushups
4x100 pushups

4x100 pistol squats
500 air squats

3000 crunshes

I train like that usualy 2-3 times a day.

Yes bro, but I was almost a beginner in strength training before starting. I went from
- 5 ring pull-ups in a row to 12 ring pull-ups for 3 sets
- 0 ring dips to 5 ring dips for 3 sets (yeah that exercise is surprisingly hard on rings)
Right now I'm trying to learn handstand push-ups, pistol squats and front lever but progress is slow probably due to my height.
This is how my body looks now, 193 cm but I have no idea how much I weigh (probably in the 83-85 kg range)

Calisthenics is a cope for guys who can't get big.

Hit the gym or go home.

Doing calisthenics or lifting weights alone is dumb tbh. I like to mix it up, in the end you get best of both worlds

Well I guess I still do some weighted pull-ups and dips in the gym if you count that as calisthenics

Good enough. I just do calisthenics because I want to be flexible as well, most of the gymcels lose their mobility in the process

Calisthenics is fun, but I'll join a gym once they open again tbh, progressive overload is much easier to achieve with weights
