After reading a post about how blue eyes dont pose any benefits to survival in the wild, I realized something I read a long time ago
Females of most animal species do not pick mates who offer the most protection, most likely to survive, or most alpha qualities
Females choose mates who are the best LOOKING to them because it means high chance offspring will also be attractive to find more mates
Females breed to spawn Chads to bang all the other females ensuring the population to continue
Only in animals when males kill each other for females will they develop evolutionary traits for survival and fighting, in animals were males are more passive like peacocks or malard ducks, males will be chosen purely based off how pretty they are to females
