Well you're young asf and in CS, so I wouldn't consider you to be a wagecel. More like in training for the real deal.

Wagecel to me means working some random shitty dead end job that any bozo can do. And something you have no passion for.

Brutal stuff. The lucky ones get paid well and love what they do but they are such a small minority that it's essentially just a pipedream for the average joe. I have seen more and more younger people below 35 not wanting to work long hours and opting to make a little less money but work less hours if it means more freedom. One guy i recall worked for aerospace engineering or something and he worked only 2 days a week and because it's not some dead end wagecuck job, those 2 days are enough to feed a family/kid/himself. That would be ideal tbh.

I know it's low but def can't be anywhere near that low. But I guess it also depends on how you define your passion.

Yeah this is true. I tell my manager a task is gonna take 6 hours but you actually complete it in 3.

Or you take it slow and complete it in 5.

Wagecucking in these types of role isn't like being in a factory and working every second. It is more comparable to being in a restaurant and when it's not busy you still get paid for doing 'nothing'.
