i’ve looked at European faces, and one of the key traits is a more prominent maxilla relative to the orbits. Asian orbital structure is flatter as a result; the eyes appear more rounded. When Asians get blepharoplasty, they aren’t trying to look European—because they can’t. They lack midfacial anterior depth relative to the cranial base. The result is simply an enhanced Asian eye, not a European one.
Another point is jaw shaping. Many Europeans naturally have an L-shaped jaw. Asians tend to have a more buxom, rounded L-shaped jaw. In European facial aesthetics, that L shape becomes squarer and more tapered. In Asian facial aesthetics, there’s an attempt to narrow the jaw into a V shape. They also often reduce their naturally wide cheekbones in an effort to look more angular.
They aren’t trying to look European, because they can’t. They lack true anterior midface depth. Eye spacing is different. The chin is different. The midface is different. The supraorbital region is different. Almost everything is different. Skin thickness is different as well.
Even with a true Le Fort III plus facial implants, they still look Asian. The reason is skin thickness, skull shape, and frontal facial ratios. They might gain anterior depth similar to a European, but they would still look Asian.
