  • Pharmacotherapeutic class, code ATC: Androgens – G (genitourinary and sexual hormones)
  • In general treatment of men: ANDRACTIM, a gel for local application is utilised in adult males for replacing testosterone in order to treat various health problems due to a lack of testosterone (in particular male hypogonadism).This diagnosis has to be confirmed by two separate samples of testosterone from the blood, as well as the presence of symptoms such as impotence, infertility, loss of libido, fatigue, depression, bone loss due to weak levels of other hormones.
  • In local treatment
  • Of men: (Don’t know this technical word), gynecomastia
  • Women: dk this shit
  • What information is there to know before using ANDRACTIM?
NEVER USE ANDRACTIM

  • If you are allergic to the active ingredient or one of the other components of this medicine, mentioned in rubric 6.
  • In men: if you have prostate cancer
  • In women: In the frame of general androtherapy, for the reason of risk of virilisation.
Warnings and precautions

  • Strictly follow the medical prescription, especially in women due to the risk of virilisation
  • In older men, like all older men treated with androgens, a regular clinical survey of the prostate is recommended.
  • If you suffer from a serious heart disease, liver disease or kidney disease, treatment by ANDRACTIM can induce severe complications that manifest themselves through retention of water in the heart, sometimes accompanied by heart failure (congestive).
  • The following blood tests must be done by your doctor before and during your treatment: levels of testosterone in the blood, total blood count.
  • Warn your doctor if you have hypertension or if you are treated for hypertension because testosterone can train/augment arterial pressure.
  • Attention of athletes will be attracted on the fact that this specialty contains an ingredient that can induce a positive result in anti-doping tests.
Inform your doctor before taking ANDRACTIM if you suffer from or already suffer from

  • Trouble with coagulation
  • An anomaly with coagulation of blood that augments the risk of thrombosis
