Got lectured for pointing out a mistake.

I was trying to find and get a serving spoon from the drawer (for dinner) and I select one. I see that it had cheese stuck on it from the pasta we had from yesterday.
I pointed it out to my mother and she got mad at ME.

I threw it into the sink (no dishwasher in my house) so that she can wash it. She called my dad and my dad defended her from me telling her to wash the dishes properly.
My dad lectured me on this. I wasn't even rude, all i did was point out a mistake.

I wash my own plates everytime (because I can't trust her anymore)(*the dishwasher is getting old* if you know what i mean lol). And I do my job with passion and always wash it perfectly.

I like my mother, I don't despise her, but this is like the only thing i hate about her.

She thinks i'm doing nothing to help her anyways and should be helping her in the kitchen.

My dad is like that. My mom is practically my only true friend but I never got to connect with my dad. He always get mad at little things and expects people to read his mind. He thinks he lives on principles but in reality he does whatever he wants and then wraps those principles around it to justify in his own way.

Reminds me of my own house too. My father's always simping for my mum even though she's an utter twat to him 24x7. Can't wait for 14 April to come so I can GTFO.
