That rest, entertainment and socialising is the core of life, and not a vice or "wasted time"
In natural terms, you're supposed to work as little as possible to secure your safety and sustenance, and that's it. The levels on how much work is too much can be disputed and discussed (fantasies of twitter commies about living in commune without working at all are just as retarded), but it is a fact that work is not and never was supposed to be the main part of your life.
Which is why it's no wonder why people are depressed and suffer in modern society, where it's your work and career that defines you, and wanting to rest and respite is treated almost like a fault in character
