I've been on these kinds of forums since around 2014/2015. I got started with PUA and gymcelling & browsing 4ch /fit/ board (along with occasionally bodybuilding forum) before I found out about lookism. Realized PUA was all a scam and that made me just focus on trying to have good looks instead of trying to learn 'game' JFL.

Was not a forumcel/imageboardcel prior to 4chan.

I think but not sure that the first forums I registered on were the metin2 (mmorpg game) forums.

Back then (2008-ish) because the social media were not as big, people used forums like alternative social media, there was no topic restriction like there is nowadays, usually.

I remember I learned a lot of of slang and bad words from adults there, then tried to impress my peers at school the next day.. ooo yesh those were the days...
