“I feel like there are a lot of physical advantages to being short. I've never been tall, so I don't know if I wouldn't be this way were I tall, but I feel like I have exceptionally good balance. I'm a very graceful dancer and athlete, and I'm very flexible. I just feel very agile and nimble. I've also recently gotten into working out, and I've found it's a bit easier for me to gain (at least the appearance of) muscle mass than it would be for someone taller.

Addtionally, I feel like I fit comfortably in airplanes, small cars, most beds, and many other scenarios where my taller friends have many complaints.

And, perhaps this last one is unique to me. I know most women don't prefer men their own height, but I do have a preference for same-height women, and being a short man, there are A LOT of women who are roughly the same height as I am. To me, there's nothing more beautiful than looking a woman you love straight in the eyes without bending your neck.

I kind of love being short.”

It's kinda funny but it's also sad he has to lie to himself to this much of an extent, notice how people with desirable features never have to try and justify them.

"I kind of love being short." Yeah he definitely wrote this with tears running down his face.

There are benefits of being short.

You are obliged to be funny to get treated with any decency

I remember when I would cope like this. It was back after I graduated highschool and the reality that I would be this height for the rest of my life started setting in. It was also when I thought that life was more like a Disney movie, that woman cared more about personality than looks.

The entire subreddit is mostly filled with stuff like this. The mods ban anyone that every goes beyond coping like this. Even if you comment reality on people venting.

OP will either grow out of it and face reality or continue giving irrelevant examples like "muh plane seats more comfortable". Or maybe it'd be a good idea that they'll continue saying that.

There's advantages to being dead, stupid, obese etc. That doesn't mean those are good things. There is no coping for height. Either get LL or suffer.

how tall is the reddit poster?

To be honest bending down to almost 90’ just to hear my date talk on some occasions is inconvenient

You are bigger, get more of a work out from walking, can probably eat more, will die sooner (could be considered good)
