Those with pituitary gland issues still grow taller with closed plates because of how much hgh the body produces. Excessive hgh leads to more bone growth overall. That’s why people who produce excessive hgh due to pituitary gland issues look super deformed. Those with severe pituitary gland issues never stop growing and tend to die very young if not treated.

Another thing, the reason why height increases with closed growth plates when injecting hgh is bc of acromegaly, so the bones become thicker and denser. Hence why people become ogre looking after taking it for long periods. The vertical height is not increasing on its own, nor are the bones only increasing vertically. The bones are becoming denser and therefore thicker overall. That’s also why people only grow much slower on hgh post growth plates. It’s a dangerous game.
