yeah, again Open ≠ Growth
yep, it's why bone age is used by endocrinologists and radiologists, however height is fucking complicated, there's been cases, on reddit for example, where growth plates were closed on knee xrays but people still grew (muh anecdote but still doesn't disprove how weird growth is)
