And I’m just barely 5’6 with great frame, but the shortest part of my body is legs. I legitimately have the legs of an 11 year old boy. At this height something will always look off. I‘ve been gymcelled my whole life bc muscles are so easy to keep on for me. You know how many times I’ve heard people tell me that girls say I’m overcompensating behind my back? Too many.
Just this month at work I got told how many of my female coworkers think I’m awkward and creepy despite me not flirting with any of them. My 6’2 coworker acts the same + more aggressive and they worship him. It’s largely a respect aspect. It’s infuriating how you’re held to such a higher standard for behavior just to be considered a man when you’re this height.
