GTFIH - HTB calls me cute - what do I do?

For context there’s this HTB in my class. I was in some classes with her the year before and we’re in one class together this year.

She’s obviously attractive but I thought she’s’ obviously not interested (until…)

Just last week I was sitting in one of my classes and i’m looking towards the board and I see her look at me as her head is a foot away from where i’m looking.

As she’s looking at me I look at her for a second, then I look back at the board. This happens about two times until I look at the board and I still see her glance over me a couple times.

Just today as I was exiting class I glance at her towards the end of class and as the bell rings I walk out the door and in the hall. All of a sudden I hear “..(something something)…he’s so cute”

Now, I’m 99% sure she was talking to me as she was around 10 feet behind me with nobody else but females around, and everyone else in the class are subs (except a couple tall dudes who are still lmtn-sub5)


See I can be extremely NT when it comes to if (i’m not that nd) but one thing i’ve never thought about much is approaching/talking to a girl.

Fortunately for me the class i’m in has an extreme amount of group work/socializing.

If I wait too long (weeks) to even speak to her or acknowledge her I have no doubt she’ll lose interest by then.


Do I bother approaching? Does she just find me attractive for now and nothing long term?


TL;DR There’s this girl in my class who’s been giving me signs she’s interested—looking at me frequently, overheard her calling me cute (99% sure it was me). Unsure if it’s a compliment or overthinking. I should probably approach her soon before she loses interest, maybe use group work as a way to start talking?
