I just told my blue pilled naive dad that I want to quit college and go full time so I can earn 10k needed for surgery. He went ballistic saying im quitting life and that im going to be a failure. What is there to live for if you do not look your best? I have already accumulated about 7000 dollars and I want to get the last 10k needed for bimax thus I want to quit school for 6 months and do this. I have yet to tell my mom who I live with the other 50 percent of the time but I will after I finish finals next week. She already knows I have been saving for surgery and cried sometime ago at the thought of me wanting to change my face but she knows I will go through with it. Any advice on how I can convince them?

This!!!! Like in their mindset, you are set for life if you work 40 hours a week in a wageslave job where you earn decent money. But what do I earn that money for? I don't hate working per se infact I really like my jobs and achieving shit but ultimately money does not bring you happiness it's just a tool to achieve what really matters

You can coordinate ortho with your primary care orthodontist and have it billed to insurance, you just have to make sure ortho will actually work with a foreign surgeon

These are like 2020 prices, cheapest guy I know of in Italy is 20k euro for bimax + genio.

And yes, you will need pre-surgery orthodontics for 1-2 years.

You won't be able to get the surgery for another 1-2 years minimum, why do you not understand this.

You need pre bimax orthodontics, it is mandatory in 99.99% of cases

No, the braces are to align your teeth properly prior to surgery, because if they aren't straight and they then move your jaws around your teeth wont sit together properly. Depending on how fucked up your teeth are this will take 1-3 years

I'm 27 and i think these are the best years, and everything is getting better as far as i am concerned. So you have time and can do it, don't worry so much about time.

I am in university and will simply get bimax during summer break.

I will ask him about costs during consult I have next week, I am interested in high-cut lf1 to bring midface forward + infraorbital + rhino.

I am not sure if he even does rhinoplasty but I will ask anyway
