Doesn't work for everyone to be honest, some people will look weird/psycho when smiling I guess the muscle incisions on your face has something to do with it idk, for example when I smile my eyes goes full asian because of my lack of UEE + my lips are very close together so my teeth doesn't show up + my nose humps a little for some reason. Yeah im not reading that entire study nor do i have the expertise do analyse studies at an academic level. Althoguh it is well known that even published studies can have their flaws, which is typically pointed out explicitly in the study itself. Lets pretend this one does not. What is that study really implying? That smiling is bad in a general sense? That you should never smile? Not at all. And it can’t imply that because that was not what the study conducted, concidering it just showed pictures of men, and not real life situations where two people share a genuine humorous interaction. A lot of people tend to forget that even a study of hard cold data requires an interpretation in the end.

Which really again would render hen a randomized study like that irrelevant to one of my main points in the thread; a nice smile can increase your attractiveness and a bad smile can decrease it. BECAUSE… *drumroll* most people don’t have nice smiles, which would in turn make the data point in the direction of smiles not being attractive. More unattractive smiles than attractive smiles make data say smile is buuhuu.

Go ask a girls opinion of pictures of the average dick whether it is big or not. They will say that it is a little small, but the dicks are average right? The data collected does not fit the objective data presented? How can that be?

In short: the study focuses on an average of a wide array of mens smiles and how much attractiveness it creates on average, where the average was negative. But were they all negitive??? Meanwhile i am trying to make a case for each individuals attraction their smile creates. (Reminder when you are giving out a psl rating you rate one person individually)
