I did geoguesser for a week. It gets tedious if you are trying to get a perfect score. The is no real way to learn the idiosyncrasies of each location. It is my belief the top players just play 60 hours/week and memorize every possible location.

When I first started playing I liked getting a perfect score but that does in fact get annoying

And i only play less than an hour everyday

How I play now is more of identifying how a certain landscape looks and associating that certain landscape with a region of the world that looks like it. Nothing else is fun to me
