I conceived this technique I call “comprehensive breathing”. Now, I am probably not the first to come up with this concept, but I nonetheless did. I noticed when I exhale, I never exhale ALL of the air. Automatically, I started to inhale as half of the air was exhaled. Comprehensive breathing is where you breath out ALL the air until you can inhale. Start with a full inhale, holding when you reach maximum capacity, then slowly exhale until you empty your lungs and diaphragm completely, you should do so slowly enough that by this point you are uncomfortable. You’ll have to use some effort to squeeze all of the air out. Contract your abs to do this. You will be uncomfortable from the hypoxia but do not rush your inhale, inhale at the same rate as you exhaled until your lungs are full and hold as long as you desire before restarting the cycle.
