US of A. By working I mean I make about $800 per week on average. But given the amount I spend on supplements hormones medications plus my rent gas phone and putting some in investments plus random expenses I end up with barely anything

I went on at least 1 vacation every year from 2015-2019, and I was in college for half of that. Not sure why you don’t have the money. Certainly wasn’t going on my parents dime. There is a certain level or catharsis to vacationing, but overall it’s not great. If you can’t afford it, don’t bother. I’m just a little concerned why you can’t if you say you make fine money.

Tbh, if you’re spending the money wisely at 23, it’s way better than vacations. Getting your economic “foot in the door” with good investments to your life such as retirement/savings accounts that will grow with markets, a house, etc. make much more sense for the reasonable man.

Most of the people you see traveling are either so rich (or from rich families) that no matter what they do they’ll be fine, or they’re not being wise with their money and will reap the effects of not saving early in their life. Compounding interest is something that even amazed Einstein.

All and all, travel isn’t that great. Globalism kinda ruined many places as all cities are just slightly varied clones with too many nonwhite people. I only went to see baseball at different stadiums. Thankfully, the group I went with always had a “no gf” policy for travel and it was always just the lads. I still appreciate them for that - considering I’m the only proper virgin incel.
I also did a lot of solo traveling and it just wasn’t all that much fun. Traveling is about experiencing things with others, typically a woman but male camaraderie could fill some gaps too. If you’re here, posting, I have my doubts you’ll get anything from traveling. Objectively speaking it sucks unless you have genuine people to do it with, like a gf.

TLDR - don’t be jealous, do wise things with money instead. If you really want to travel, there’s no reason you shouldn’t have the money.

I want to travel with my gf. We've gone on little trips but I wasn't really contributing much to it cuz her extended family is rich and has lake houses and shit lol. Say you can save up 200 euro/month, which should be possible for most ppl. A hostel costs like 10-20 euro/day. Airbnb only slightly more than that. Budget plane tickets are 100-300 euro for a roundtrip.

Add in food, renting a car and doing some shit at the place you are going, you only need ~500 euro for a 1 week holiday. Meaning the average person can go for a holiday once every 2 months if he values to save and spend his money on that.
