Guys what is the ideal chin projection?

Nah not getting bimax, only sliding genio . Only part of my face that is recessed is my upper part of midface

Dude trust me you need your whole face to advance otherwise you'll look brutally like this guy But in a bad way lol


But genio will Defitely get you a good projection of the chin

Any that goes past the nasion

That's not very helpful if your lips are quite past the nasion like mine. I've morphed my chin multiple times and find best result to be at lower lip (my upper lip is a bit ahead of my lower) erring on more rather than less projection.

That's a good point but generally speaking this is a good rule of thumb

Maybe you are erectus skull? This method usually works for Caucasians

Yes I have bimaxilary protrusion so for my purposes I need more chin projection. Here is a morph by Eppley giving me a conservative projection (limited by labiomental fold). I'll be having that augmented as well so I can go to the lower lip as per my own morph. One of Yaremchuk'a best results has similar projection (also attached).

Eppley's is more realistic than mine unless I get the labiomental fold augmentation (the telltale marker of too much chin implant projection) in which case hopefully mine is achievable (which I think is ideal).

Generally speaking, chin should NEVER fall behind the lips in males. You want your chin to be in line with your lips or ideally go past the lips especially the lower lip.
