I wanted to join gym because of social Maxxing, but guess what the only time suitable for me is 7-8 pm , the gym opens at 8 am to 12 am and then closes and opens again from 5 pm but only girls from 5-7 pm rest of the time both girls and boys

I went there and the trainer introduced a bit and said to come after 7 pm to look around the gym , the gym was clean had ac but fukin as i entered the gym the trained said look at equipments niga it's my first day how would I know how to use the machines and even the girls (4) where in their group and the boys (3) in their , the trainer was talking with the boys , it was fukin awkward still i went close to the equipments and only recognised 2 machine , lat and gta sa cycle one, then was standing there it was and then left the gym by saying bye to the trainer

Should I consider going to this gym or just do home workouts

ask someone to teach you proper form
why you afraid?

You'll learn. I never had anyone teach me and figured it out. Just watch youtube vids on proper form and don't push yourself too hard. I have a lifelong injury in one joint that surgery never made right because I used to push myself too hard and ignore the pain.

Just remember, muscle burning is good, but anytime you feel joint pain STOP immediately and reevaluate your form/ how heavy you are lifting and how much you are training. Sticking to weights you can do 8-15 reps or more with in good form is usually safe. I used to do a lot of 1 rep maxxes and eventually it harmed me. If I could go back I'd just stick to weights I could do 8 or more reps with (which is better for bodybuilding anyway)

Look up the bro split on YouTube many fall I love with it and it’s beginner friendly

How many days do u lift a week and for how long

Let me rephrase how many days do u plan on lifting

If you are going 3 times you will need a pull push legs. If your doing 4 you can do bro split or for more optimal gains upper, lower, upper, lower.

No don't do weights you can only handle 5 reps with especially if you never had any gym experience prior. Put the ego aside and start out with weights you can easily handle and then work your way up to ones you can do a given exercise for at least 8 reps with to ensure you aren't going too heavy. Make sure to use good form

You only get one body and don't want a lifelong injury. Also if you never touched a weight before or did calisthenics I doubt you'll get 5 pullups in a row lol. When I started I don't think I could even do 1, and when I was 155 pounds at age 18 I could do 9-10. Now in my 20s I'm 170 pounds and can do around 6-7 due to the increased body weight making the exercise more difficult

Yup gonna start with less weights , what injury you got and how ?

Hip labral tear and hip impingement from doing deadlifts too heavy and ignoring the pain over the course of months. I found out that my hips are predisposed to this issue and it likely would have happened at some point even if I never touched a weight, but it would have lasted a lot longer before having issues. Got the injury at 17 and had surgery at 18 but the surgery was mostly a failure and didn't fix it much, and it's still not right now that I'm in my 20s and it never will be right again. I can walk without issue and do most stuff but anything that involves deep hip flexion is impossible since it binds up just past 90 degrees hip flexion

As far as hip joints go it was just a weak link in my body that would have failed inevitably but probably would have lasted into my 30s before getting bad instead of happening so young had I not went too hard for too long in the gym. If I stuck to weights that I could have done 8+ reps with this would have been less likely to happen. Anytime I have to do movements that involve crouching down, reaching stuff off the floor, or even leaning forward in my chair I get a reminder of how messed up it is and it makes that stuff difficult.

I also have a knee injury but that's completely unrelated to weights and just was an unfortunate accident which left my acl very loose and the knee joint sloppy. But that one doesn't limit mobility like the hip does and usually doesn't hurt, so not as much of a loss although eventually it will probably cause arthritis faster than the uninjured knee.

If you're lucky like most people you won't have any genetic weak links in terms of your joints so as long as you aren't completely retarded in how you train this is unlikely to happen to you, but lifting super heavy like 1 rep maxxes just aren't worth the risk. You're so much better off sticking to weights you can do 8-15 reps with since this is a lot safer and also better for size gains which is what I assume you're after anyway more than impressive numbers on lifts

if you want a quick and easy split, do this one: , but do it 3x a week or every other day instead of just 2

btw if you’re just getting started do not do compound lifts. Bad form will injure you and if you can’t work with at least a 45 on each side you will be seen as a joke lol stick to machines until strength goes up or until you have a bro with you that can hit 2 plates

Just ask someone to teach you proper form people in the gym are usually really nice
