Is this normal? After I leave, I feel constantly on edge for the rest of the day. I also get frustrated very easily.
Is this because of pre-workout or working out itself?

personally I never had this kind of feeling. Is it maybe because u keep comparing urself to other and juding as inferior? Stop doing in case: if u hit the gym is becasue u are not perfect, as everybody

A little bit of that inside inside the gym, but I wouldn't say it makes me feel anxious. The anxiousness and frustration mostly comes when I get back home.

Might be the fact that you see hot girls in skin tight clothing at the gym and that affects you mentally. That happens to me. It kind of bugs me for the rest of the day, nothing major.

Maybe this is related to some other aspect of ur life u don't even think about: paths of our mind are not easy at all to be understood.

Maybe a little, but tbh I usually go at times when there aren't many people there. I don't think about sloots there as much as I used to when I started out. Just wanna get in, do my shit and get out.

Lucky. I can only go in the evenings because of work. And it's always packed with stacies (I go to this expensive one for rich ppl only). I will never understand why they have to wear clothes that show off every curve of their body.

Yes definitely

Especially if you train too long
so do I stop training too long or just accept it? Usually I spend a little more than an hour in the gym.

Well its on you. You can try to get your workout done in 60 mins or less or just accept it.

I once read a study that said that training beyond 45 minutes already spikes cortisol, so 45 minutes is ideal but 60 is fine as well

You can also try ashwagandha after lifting, it reduces cortisol

Started taking ashwagandha about a month ago. All it seems to have done is make me more horny and improved erection size, which is good, but not much in terms of reducing anxiety. Still an abused dog.
Maybe i'll try to get my shit done faster like you said.

I have the same. Yes it is because of gym. Give yourself a little rest 1-2 week off the gym. Eat little calorie zero or surplus like 200-300kcal. Try to have better sleep. Quit pre-workouts and caffeine in general - caffeine gives you more power in the gym but this cause higher cortisol (more demanding workouts) and caffeine itself raises cortisol too.
Fun fact: if you don't take care of proper rest and calories gym can lower your testosterone.

I used to hate being in the gym when I first started but now I look forward to it. It used to be the smell of the gym that bothered me but it isn’t anymore. Just keep going, it’ll improve.

I've been going for over a year now. I enjoy going to the gym, just not the feeling I get after.

Take mag supplement straight after workout
