take the rings pill, the most important strength equipment in gymnastics, you can hang the in swingsit, ceiling hooks, pull ups door frame, trees
Rings is the ultimate upper body building equipment because you can train every single muscle
They cost from 20-30 for quality wooden rings[if you wanna invest more you can buy wrist warps, grips ,and elbow bands or something like that ],
Best material is wood they give you better grip strength and comfortable grip, and better for skilles that need false grips(alot of them use it ), you can get plastic for cheap (good fro outdoor only, wooden destroy them), they can last untill you die as long you don't leave them hanging 24/7 outdoor
ecommended brands will be rouge but any brand as good as long they didn't have weird tapes or something
Sizes: 1.1 or 1.25 the first is the Olympic size and it's best for grip strength, but depending on your hand size you csn go wih either
Basic [not really basic, everything is harder on rings] movements you can do :
Dips
Pull ups
Chin ups
Muscle up
Rows
Push ups
And statics [iron cross, planche,levers]
Swings
And whatever you really want, be creative (i saw guy who hangs on it for neck training)
Rings train stabilizer muscles giving you far more strength and aesthics than using free weights or machine and far more healthier to joints and tendons as long you don't try to do iron cross or something [you will fucking die]
Also cool party tricks
If you're beginner you should be a bit cautious to not do an iron cross (you will fucking rip your arms out of your body) but don't worry,it'd not like putting more weight in barbell and getting crushed, most of time you can't skip to the next progression
Cons: not best for legs
