my dumbass friend is telling me going with a ppl split is way to tough on the normal body and beginner weight lifters and is telling my friends they should use another split because apparently "push has way to many muscles for 1 day" which is chest shoulders and triceps which all get activated with the same compound lifts and he's being arrogant about his opinion and believes his right. I know his wrong but I don't have all the capabilities of backing it up.

so my question is does working out multiple muscles a day or 2 big muscles need different amount of protein or you eat the same amount in the days you don't workout also
 
eat 0.8-1 g protein per pound every day,your friend is wrong you can work multiple muscles you will be just more fatigued but youll recover and to say that 'push has too many muscles' is so low iq
