Three times is ideal for people with little free time like students with part time jobs or full time wagecucks. But if only going 3x use a full body workout program if 5+ use PPL imo

Based on how much time you have. How many people doing 40hrs+ at school and work have the motivation or time to gym 5 - 6 times a week? Full body 3 day hits each muscle twice, PPL quicker. With all due respect Derrick is on juice and could get gains from doing cardio 24/7. Avg person needs to workout longer than 45 minutes to see results
 
full body 3 times per week is legit as fuck trust me

The science is already settled, for natties the actual gym session boosts the hormonal profile, protein sinthesis and whatnot, so you want to have that as often as possible.
6 days a week and low volume (enough for recovery before the next session) PPL is best for natties. You even have studies on %RM, number of sets, etc. Of course maybe is less time consuming going to the gym 3 days and spending more time per session.
Derek is on juice 24/7.
